My Approach to Wedding Films
I believe the highlight film is the perfect format for a wedding film. I make them longer than most, starting at 5 minutes and maxing out around 9. It doesn’t sound like long, but it’s superior in so many ways:
- Its length means it can be higher quality – both in resolution and standard of editing.
- It’s easier to re-watch any time
- Easier to share with friends and family
- Can contain all the best moments of the wedding
- Includes audio of the best parts from vows and speeches
- Heightened emotional impact through the use of an edited soundtrack
