What is Film Aesthetic Photography?
I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but most wedding photographers seem to produce work that looks very similar. It’s all beautiful and warm and clear, but you’d be hard pressed to tell one photographer’s work from another most of the time. So what happens if you’re looking for something a little more unique?
Film aesthetic photography is my attempt to describe the atmospheric and nostalgic quality that is created by shooting on film cameras. Trouble is, shooting film is expensive and time consuming. So I use cameras that allow me to simulate the film look in-camera, alleviating the need for rolls of film, and the development process, since the images are processed in-camera.
I’m aiming at images that look like they were taken from a movie, or shot on traditional film. Full of character and mood, with a nostalgic quality.

Photography Options
Additional hours shooting
Need me to stay longer? That’s no problem. Extend up to 12 hours total shooting at £100 per hour.
Add second shooter
Multiple locations sometimes require a second photographer. That’s available for £300.
USB Drive
Photos are usually made available easily online through a premium photo hosting platform. However, if you would like a hardcopy sent to you on an engraved USB drive and box, this can be done for £50.
Printing and Albums
Prints can be arranged easily through the online photo hosting platform I use. Please contact me after the wedding if you’re interested in creating an album.
Engagement Shoots
A very important option, that shouldn’t really be an option. Engagement shoots are great for getting to know each other, getting comfortable in front of the camera and creating some stunning photos with the best weather we can find. Available from £300.
